In Quarantine with AUTOhebdo – The adventure ofAlpine A110 in rally

THEAlpine A110 is undoubtedly one of the most legendary vehicles in the history of rallying. Its track record is extremely flattering, with a handful of national and European titles and the first Manufacturers' crown awarded by the World Championship in 1973. But the Berlinette goes beyond statistics. It's a story of enthusiasts, crazy drivers and spectacular driving.

This 52-minute documentary, directed by Fabrice Maze, gives voice to the personalities who contributed to the legend Alpine, first and foremost Jean Rédélé, the founder of the brand. The great pilots appear (Jean Pierre Nicolas, Jean-Luc Thérier, Bernard Darniche), but also the men and women from the shadows.

Bonus #1 : the summary of Monte-Carlo 1973

Of course, it's in English, but these 25 minutes of archive images, period music, engines and exclamations from French supporters are worth the detour! THE Rally Monegasque, first round of the brand new World Championship, saw the victory, or rather the triumph of the Berlinette with an anthological hat-trick signed Jean-Claude Andruet-“Biche” (1st), Ove Andersson-Jean Todt (2nd) and Jean-Pierre Nicolas-Michel Vial (3rd).

Bonus #2 : Reconnaissance of the Andruet – Vinatier – Piot band

Preparing for Monte-Carlo at the turn of the 1970s, what did it look like? This is what this exceptional document seeks to reflect, following the trio composed of Jean-Claude Andruet, Jean Vinatier and Jean-François Piot. On the program, generous slides and informal meetings at the end of the day in the backcountry.
