Evans untouchable at Wales Rally GB

The Estonian lost his position by 1 seconds at the end of SS2, while the Championship leader is now more than six seconds behind the Estonian.

The Norwegian climbed to sixth place by taking advantage of an error by Kris Meeke (Citroën) who found himself half a second behind the Scandinavian.

Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) took eighth place, more than seven seconds ahead of his teammate Dani Sordo. Juho Hänninen (Toyota) still completes the top ten ahead of his teammate Esapekka Lappi, but the Finn is less than three seconds behind the Spaniard. Mads Ostberg (M-Sport) retired at the end of SS11 after encountering electrical problems while in 12th place.

Pontus Tidemand (Skoda) remains well established at the head of WRC 2 with almost a minute ahead of Tom Cave (Ford) who took second place in the category for a second ahead of Éric Camilli ( Ford) in SS11.

The crews go to the Corris regrouping before competing in the second passage of the specials from 13:08 p.m. French time.
