Finland: Loeb wants to ensure

Sébastien, how does this Finnish route seem to you?
It's almost the same as last year, with two or three new stages. One of these short stories, Myhinpaa, is a bit difficult. It?s wide, fast, with lots of ridges. The rest of the route looks like last year, so it should be fine.

What about the state of the roads?
They are “ok”. There is a lot of gravel in some places. So there will definitely be a little bit of sweeping here and there, but I don't know which day. It all depends on whether the roads will stay dry. For the moment, they are correct.

How do you hope to beat Mikko this weekend?
There are no tactics or strategies. We are in Finland, the only thing to do is to attack. So that?s what we are going to try to do. To push the car to its limits, we have to have complete confidence in it. I hope we can do it.

How bad isIs it important for you to win this weekend?
It would be good, of course, to win. But that?s not the most important thing. If I don't win, the championship won't be over. But if Mikko or I lose a lot of points here, that could be the end.
