Adrien fourmaux and Renaud Jamoul are in full swing. Two days after completing their first World Rally Championship event (WRC) aboard a Rally1 in fifth place in Croatia, the Franco-Belgian duo did it again during the Rally of Portugal (May 20-23).
“First time in Portugal? Yes. First time with a WRC on gravel? Yes ", the 23-year-old Frenchman laughed on his Twitter page.

The winner of the Youth Rally operation in 2016 will therefore continue with a second start as a teammate of Gus Greensmith at M-Sport Ford. The Finn Teemu suninen will once again have to settle for a Ford Fiesta in WRC2 in Portugal, before regaining its starting place in Sardinia (June 3-6).
Rich Millener, team principal, was impressed by the attitude of the Northerner: “We are really pleased with Adrien’s performance on the Croatian asphalt. Four years ago, he had never driven a rally car and today he is fighting with his childhood idols!
He has a natural talent and skill that we want to develop and I am happy to announce that he will be back behind the wheel of the Ford Fiesta WRC in a few weeks at the Rally Portugal. He will discover the potential of the Ford Fiesta WRC on gravel. The challenge will be completely different, there will be no pressure, but we are curious to see how he performs! »
