François Delecour with Ford at Monte-Carlo

François Delecour will contest the Rally Monte Carlo on a Ford Fiesta RS WRC. After an absence of around ten years (last season contested in 2002 with Mitsubishi), the former Ford driver (from 1991 to 1995, 1998 and 2001) will return with the American manufacturer in an event where he has already won in 1994 at the wheel of an Escort RS Cosworth.

The Frenchman will drive alongside Jari-Matti Latvala, who saw his former teammate Mikko Hirvonen leave for Citroën. François Delecour will probably not be the only guest since Ott Tänak is also expected to contest the first event of the 2012 season with Ford.
