Gabin Moreau has been released from the hospital

His convalescence has continued for a month now. Injured in violent road accident of the DS3 WRC of the Abu Dhabi Team WRT with his teammate Stéphane Lefebvre in Germany, Gabin Moreau suffered fractures to his left foot and hand, his right shin, and also suffered from a displaced collarbone and a cracked vertebra.

A heavy toll which unfortunately led to the end of the season for the co-driver. The latter wanted to give his news this weekend. “Today things are improving, the pain is fading little by little, the wounds are healing and the joints are gradually starting to move again, says Moreau on his Facebook page.

Even though I still can't walk, my best friend is my wheelchair which allows me to get around. I was able to leave the hospital and return home, it felt good to finally be in a common place and be able to recharge my batteries a little. »

Gabin Moreau also clarified the rest of his care protocol. “Next week, I should go to a rehabilitation center in Strasbourg to start re-musturing my legs in order to facilitate the recovery planned for early/mid-October. I can't wait to start this work and finally be able to see the end of it. »
