Gigi Galli dreams of a comeback

Flamboyant behind the wheel as in life, Gigi Galli was present in Sardinia as a simple spectator: “I had the opportunity to think a lot after my accident. I am convinced that this sport is part of my life. THE rally I really miss it and a lot of supporters are asking me to come back as soon as possible. I hope to be able to quickly put an end to this long period of inactivity. »

But without resources, the Italian does not have the means to demonstrate his talents again by renting a WRC : “Motor sports are very expensive. If I don't find support, I have no chance of coming back. The economic situation is very difficult in Italy at the moment. It is very difficult to sell yourself. When I introduce myself and ask for two million euros, I am told that with just one million, we can have ten times more visibility. The prices are way too high. I hope everything will change quickly. »

Gigi, however, remains optimistic and is certain of getting back behind the wheel soon: “We are going through a difficult period. There are only two manufacturers at the moment. This is proof that times are tough. I don't want to criticize but this is the current situation. I'm sure we'll be back in a car soon. If anyone has money to invest, think of me! »
