Hayden Paddon: Hyundai 'on the path to success'

Hayden Paddon was the main opponent of Sébastien Ogier au Rally from Sweden. If the New Zealander did not manage to beat the Volkswagen driver, his second place offers a solid result for Hyundai. The Korean manufacturer's driver seems delighted with the new i20 WRC even if the development has yet to bear fruit.

“I have completed 800 km of tests behind the wheel since August last year. It's not huge, but enough to have a good understanding of the car", confided Hayden Paddon to AUTOhebdo. “Today, the basis is there, we are clearly on the path to success. It remains to find the best combination between shock absorbers, differentials, train geometry…”
