Hyundai confirms Dani Sordo until end of 2016

Spanish driver Dani Sordo has signed a two-season contract with the Hyundai team, and will participate in at least ten rounds of the championship in 2015 before a full year in 2016.

Hyundai confirms Dani Sordo until end of 2016

In issue 1984 of AUTOhebdo, the Spaniard Dani Sordo told us that he would be present in 2015 in the World Rally Championship. It's official since this morning, with the confirmation of the signing for the next two seasons with Hyundai of the 31-year-old pilot. Sordo took part in six rounds of the calendar this year and should see his program extended with at least ten events contested, but which have not yet been announced by the team based in Alzenau in Germany.

Team Principal Michel Nandan praises the qualities of the Iberian driver and details the program of the native of Torrelavega. “Dani has shown impressive consistency this season on different types of terrain. He showed himself to be very fast in different circumstances, including in difficulty and above all, he is a very appreciated member of the team. We are pleased to continue our collaboration with him in 2015 and 2016. Next season he will compete in at least ten WRC events, alongside Thierry, before a full season in 2016.”
