Hyundai Motorsport tests its eight aspiring drivers

La semaine dernière dans les environs de Mazamet (Tarn), Hyundai Motorsport a mis à l’épreuve trois jours durant les huit espoirs préalablement sélectionnés (Emil Bergkvist, Gus Greensmith, Jari Huttunen, Karl Kruuda, Pepe López, René Mandel, Kalle Rovanperä and Pierre-Louis Loubet) with a view to obtaining a wheel in WRC2 for 2018.

Accompanied by their own co-drivers, they took turns at the wheel of the Hyundai i20 R5, both on dirt and on asphalt. At the end of this second phase of testing, a lucky winner will be chosen, whose identity should however not be revealed before the Rally from Spain (October 5-8).

Also note that on this occasion, Andreas Mikkelsen, recently confirmed Hyundai Motorsport driver for the last three events of the season and undoubtedly also for more, carried out two days of testing on gravel with the same i20 R5 with the aim of to bring his feelings as well as his experience of the competition (Skoda Fabia R5) in this matter.
