Jean Ragnotti, a Frenchman in Malaysia

Today part-time ambassador of the manufacturer at Losange, for whom he regularly carries out various operations (demonstrations, etc.), Jean Ragnotti lives almost five months a year in Malaysia, a country discovered in the 90s.

“I had always dreamed of visiting Asia. In 1992, to celebrate a birthday with my wife Elisabeth, we wanted to treat ourselves to a nice trip to Asia. The fact is that the first country we chose was Malaysia? Where we decided to settle down to spend the four months of winter there, because we had good memories of it. » explains the winner of the 1981 Monte-Carlo.

Always active behind the wheel, Jean Ragnotti can also indulge in his great passion in South-East Asia: golf. “I’ve been playing since 1985? I liked it so much that since then, apart from motorsport, it has become my second sport. » The native of Vaucluse, however, keeps a close eye on the different disciplines of motorsport, in particular rally, where he told us his vision of the two French world champions Sébastien Loeb et Sébastien Ogier ?
