Kalle Rovanperä reference of shakedown in Sweden

The first of two shakedowns was completed on the Skalla course where the road was completely clear of snow on the first pass. The crews had to deal with studded tires that were unsuitable for the conditions.

Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota) was the fastest, taking advantage of the last passage where the conditions were better after the sweep, to cross the 4-minute mark with a time of 3'57''7. The gaps are important since his teammates Sébastien Ogier and Elfyn Evans followed more than 3 seconds behind.

The Hyundai de Craig Breen et Ott Tänak completed the Top 5 having made only two passages. Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota) followed in 6th place ahead of the Finns Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) and Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota).

The championship leader Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) settled for 9th time ahead of Esapekka Lappi (M-Sport).

Mads Ostberg (Citroën) was the fastest among the drivers entered in the R5s. Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen) was one of the closest in preceding Adrien fourmaux (Ford).

The Karlstad super special scheduled for this Thursday evening at 20:08 p.m. has been replaced as a second shakedown despite its short route of 1,9km.
