Ranking Rally of Portugal 2023:
Drivers Championship:
Manufacturers' Championship:
- A walk in the health. Kalle Rovanperä and Jonne Halttunen (Toyota) won the 2023 Rally Portugal without showing any signs of weakness. The Finns took the lead at the end of the first stage, and widened the gap the next day before managing their margin of almost a minute on Sunday.
- This is their 9th victory in the World Rally Championship (WRC). This success allows them to escape at the top of the 2023 championship, because direct rivals like Ott Tänak (M-Sport Ford, hybrid) and Thierry Neuville (Hyundai, broken turbo) drove slowly and finished far from the podium. Former championship leader, Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) did not take part in this Rally of Portugal but will be back in Sardinia and Kenya next month.
- Hyundai still recorded a double podium thanks to Dani Sordo and Esapekka Lappi.
- In WRC2, the fight was uncertain until the Fafe Power Stage. In the lead on Saturday evening, Oliver Solberg (Skoda) was penalized one minute for daring to do donuts before the stopping point of a super-special. The Swede launched a big attack on Sunday to catch and overtake leader Gus Greensmith (Skoda), but it was the Englishman who won. Frenchman Yohan Rossel (Citroën) finished 4th.

Why didn't Hyundai allow Lappu to score a few more points? Stop betting on Neuville only, he will never make it
