Ken Block returns with Subaru
Ken Block will return to its roots this season, competing in six of the seven remaining events on the calendar.American Rally Association, at the wheel of a Subaru WRX STi from Subaru Motorsports USA.
After regularly lining up at the wheel of Ford in recent seasons, including an Escort RS Cosworth, the whimsical American will return to the Japanese brand for the first time since 2009, and will always be co-driven by Alex Gelsomino.
“I haven't competed in a full championship since 2013 and it will take time to get used to this new generation of STI, but I liked the feeling of the car during testing, underlines Block who will team up with Travis Pastrana and Brandon Semenuk.
Travis had a great battle at 100 Acre Wood last month, so it's going to be great to compete against each other as an even car and team. »
Bloc will only miss the Oregon Trail Rally, due to a date conflict with other commitments.
