We knew Ken Block accustomed to extreme creations with his Ford Escort or Mustang. Always faithful to the cars of the Dearborn firm, the American recently unveiled its new tool: a 150 Ford F-1977, transformed for the occasion into a real racing beast.
Powered by a 6 liter Ecoboost V3,5, the same base as that equipping the Ford GT aligned in GTE and GTLM in WEC and IMSA, the pickup develops more than 920 hp. The car evokes Block's adolescence, since his father owned such a car, that the driver seen in Rallycross and WRC in recent years used to take his first steps behind the wheel.
Ken Block will use his Ford F-150 in his upcoming Gymkhana, the tenth episode, which will be broadcast on Amazon.
