Knapick returns to Monte-Carlo

At 72, Hervé Lemmonier will return to Rally Monte-Carlo (January 24-27) by being entered in a DS 3 R5 and co-driven by his daughter Marie-Laure (see: n°2181 of AUTOhebdo). This will not be the first time that Knapick will participate in the famous rally event since he will make his 3rd participation after an entry in 2009 in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX (13th) and a second two years later in a Subaru Impreza STI (33rd).

On the other hand, this will only be the second time he will play in a round WRC, the Monte-Carlo Rally not having always been included in the World Championship. Hervé Knapick competed in the 2003 Swedish Rally in a Lancer Evo VII but did not see the finish following a trip off the road.
