Kris Meeke back in WRC with Skoda?

What if Kris Meeke made his comeback in the WRC ? Absent from the world championship since his departure from Toyota At the end of the 2019 campaign, the Englishman is still looking for new adventures and has never hidden his desire to resume his career in rally despite a two-season hiatus.

Invited this year to take part in the tests conducted by Skoda on the Fabia Rally2, would Kris Meeke be tempted by an adventure with the Czech manufacturer next year? If the Englishman has not yet spoken on the subject, Michal Hrabánek, director of Skoda Motorsport, mentioned this possibility to him.

This possible return to the WRC, Kris Meeke would not do it directly with Skoda but with a customer team since the Czech manufacturer is not officially involved at the moment. This was already the case this year for Andreas Mikkelsen, WRC2 champion with the Toksport WRT Fabia Rally2.
