Kris Meeke dominates shakedown in Corsica

On terrain which has deteriorated over the course of the passages with the mud brought back from the ropes, Chris Meeke took advantage of his first attempt at the wheel of the Citroën C3 WRC to be the fastest at the shakedown Tour of Corsica.

The Briton completed the 5,45 km in 4'00″8, 2″2 faster than Andreas Mikkelsen. The Norwegian leads the trio Hyundai by preceding his teammates Thierry Neuville and Dani Sordo.

Ford Fiestas M-Sport de Sébastien Ogier and Elfyn Evans follow in the ranking and are ahead Sébastien Loeb (Citroen). The top 10 is completed by the Toyota YarisOtt Tänak, Stéphane Lefebvre best time in WRC2 at the wheel of the Citroën C3 R5, Jari-Matti Latvala and Esapekka Lappi (Toyota). Bryan Bouffier places the third Ford Fiesta – M-Sport in fourteenth position.
