The FFSA relaunches the French Rally Team

Sébastien Chardonnet (24 years old), Stéphane Consani (21 years old), Jérémie Serieys (25 years old) and Stéphane Lefebvre (20 years old) have been designated by the FFSA to join the French team rally, which joins those dedicated to karting and to the circuit. The four young recruits will benefit from federal support towards the highest level, and in particular from the infrastructures of the Auto Sport Academy center in Le Mans.

The FFSA Youth Rally operation, relaunched in 2011 in partnership with Citroën, constitutes the basis of the FFSA Rallye Course of Excellence. That year, Pierre Campana joined the French rally team, to compete in the German and French rounds of the WRC. Last year, the FFSA launched the first French Rally Team Collective, made up of Nicolas Romiguière, Quentin Gilbert, Sébastien Chardonnet and Stéphane Consani. This season, the French Rally Team is relaunched, culminating in the participation of its four members in the 2013 Rallye de France-Alsace in the best conditions; the Federation being in charge of organizing the competition.

In the meantime, we will find Jérémie Serieys from the Rally du Touquet this weekend, while Stéphane Lefebvre will start the Canary Islands Rally, in the European championship on March 21. Sébastien Chardonnet and Stéphane Consani will take part in the WRC round in Portugal on April 12.
