It has long been established that the World Rally Championship is the motorsport discipline that offers the most breathtaking images. Taking place in a natural environment on both dirt, snow or asphalt, day or night, it makes for a spectacle so grandiose that it is sometimes frustrating that it is not exposed enough.

The federal body has decided to tackle this subject by creating a team to promote WRC within the FIA. Its aim will be to maximize the potential of the WRC by developing a charter which will define a set of commitments from all stakeholders in order to promote the WRC to a wider audience. This will be done based on several agreed objectives and key performance indicators.

Clearly, the FIA wants the promotion of the discipline to finally reach spectators who are not yet fans of rally, which can't be a bad idea. It is even the only solution for the WRC to emerge from its anonymity and ultimately be able to interest new manufacturers.
