The end of Jari-Matti Latvala’s ordeal?

Jari-Matti Latvala has had some good performances this season, but a series of bad luck befell the Flying Finn. After a well-deserved break, the crews of the WRC are preparing to resume the race by competing next week in the Rally from Finland. The Ford driver remains optimistic for his national event, even if the error occurs quickly.

“The car has become incredibly more stable as the season has gone on”, assures Jari-Matti Latvala. “It’s superb on fast roads and jumps. The Rally Finland is a rather fast event where the driver must know the limits and act intelligently. You should not be afraid while driving, but you must be able to feel fear to recognize your limits. »

The Flying Finn will celebrate his 100th WRC start in his national event even though he is only 26 years old. “It feels strange to have made 100 starts”, comments the four-time WRC rally winner. “For me, a driver who is making his 100th start has been in the sport for a long time. But I?m only 26 and I don?t feel like I?ve been here for long. Maybe that is the case. »
