Finland is in full swing in the WRC!

As in Ireland, Norway and Portugal, eighteen WRCs are entered in the Rally Finland, the ninth event of the World Rally Championship. In Super 2000, Hänninen and Raïkkönen should have many supporters.

The five “usual” Citroën C4s WRC will be lined up for Sébastien Loeb, Dani Sordo, Sébastien Ogier, Evgeny Novikov and Conrad Rautenbach. Petter Solberg entered again with his Citroën Xsara WRC.

At Ford, the official team will be represented by Mikko Hirvonen and Jari-Matti Latvala on the latest developments of the Focus RS WRC. Khalid Al Qassimi will also be at the start with a 2008 version of the Focus.

For the first time, Munchi?s entered three Focus RS WRC 08s for the Argentinian Federico Villagra and the Finns Matti Rantanen and Mattias Therman while two cars will make up the Stobart team with Matthew Wilson and Henning Solberg.

The Norwegian Mads Ostberg will be present again with his Subaru Impreza WRC08. As for the Finnish private drivers, we will find Jari Ketomaa in a Subaru Impreza WRC, Jouni Arolainen in a Focus RS WRC05 and Jukka Ketomäki in a Skoda Octavia WRC.

In Super 2000, the Finn Juho Hänninen will be present with an official Skoda Fabia against Kimi Raïkkönen with an Abarth Grande Punto and the Russian Radik Shaymiev with a Peugeot 207.

Finally, after starting his season with Stobart, Urmo Aava returns at the wheel of a Honda Civic R3 with which he will be able to compete against the Junior WRC drivers.

Le Rally of Finland, the next WRC event, will begin on July 30.
