The Ford Fiesta R5 out on the asphalt

After an appearance at Malcolm Wilson rally (named after the main team of M-Sport, editor’s note), development of the Ford Fiesta R5 continues. The latest from the English team's workshops was tested for the first time on asphalt in Spain. The future rival of the Peugeot 208 T16 was once again entrusted to M-Sport test drivers Matthew Wilson and Elfyn Evans who covered almost 1000 kilometers.

“We made significant progress with the performance of the Ford Fiesta R5 on asphalt last week and it looks like the car will be competitive on both asphalt and gravel.”, believes Matthew Wilson. “Now we are going to France where we will test the endurance of the car to really gauge its reliability and ensure that we will provide our customers with a car that is as strong as it is competitive”, concludes the Briton.
