Sweden reveals its 2020 route

The competitive journey of Rally of Sweden 2020 will be reduced to just over 300 km (301,26 km to be precise), a reduction of around fifteen kilometers compared to 2019.

The event will see several changes to its route, with the return of the Finnskogen ES (20,89 km) which replaces the Svullrya and Röjden sectors while the Nyckelvattnet special (18,94 km) will be completely new.

On Saturday, Vargåsen, which features the famous Colin’s Crest bump, will remain on the program with a start to the course not seen since 2001. Torntorp will return to the menu when Hagfors will offer a modified face. The final stage on Sunday retains its current format.

The organizers of the Swedish Rally have also decided for 2020 to favor competitors WRC to those of the historic plateau during the day of Friday.

The latter will evolve after the two passages of the modern rally competitors, to ensure the best possible road conditions for the participants in the World Championship during the inaugural day.
