Esapekka Lappi se prépare à vivre son passage chez Citroën après deux saisons passées chez Toyota Gazoo Racing. Le Finlandais est revenu dans AUTOhebdo on the reasons which motivated his choice to leave the Japanese brand in the fight for the Drivers' and Manufacturers' titles for the Reds who are still seeking a first victory two rallies from the end of the season.
“I am convinced of the potential of the car and the team, explained Esapekka Lappi to AUTOweekly. Esapekka Lappi also remained evasive when discussing the level of support offered by Toyota.
“Maybe it’s better that I don’t say anything… or I can say that I felt more support from Citroën…”
