Neuville's apprenticeship in Sweden

Thierry Neuville don't try to score points Rally from Sweden. After his disappointment at Monte-Carlo, the young Citroën driver wants to be at the finish of the second event of the season by gaining experience on the snowy special stages that he discovers aboard the DS3 WRC. The winner of the Tour de Corse is in 13th place (after SS13) and knows that he still has to learn on this type of course to later claim a place in the top ten.

“I didn?t make a single mistake, it?s quite positive”, commented the Citroën driver on RTBF. “I was even able to set several good times. The team did not give me any specific instructions. I started cautiously and gradually increased my pace when I felt confident. I think it?s the right strategy to adopt, in any case I want to be at the finish. I don't hesitate to take my foot off when the course is tricky and I ride like my grandmother. This type of ordeal is entirely new to me. I have adapted well to the studded tires but I know that I am not using them to the fullest because I have not lost a single one and that is not normal. »
