Latvala reference of shakedown in Sardinia

Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) a établi la référence au shakedown du Rally from Sardinia. In wet conditions, the Finn completed the 3,51km Olmedo special in 1’53”9 on the fourth and final pass.

Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) a été le plus proche avec huit dixièmes de retard. Le Néo-Zélandais a devancé les pilotes Toyota Esapekka Lappi et Ott Tänak and Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) who all finished nine tenths behind the best time.

Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) s’est classé au sixième rang en précédant ses coéquipiers Elfyn Evans et Teemu Suninen. Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) a suivi en neuvième position devant les Citroën de Craig Breen and Mads Ostberg.

If the C3 WRC are behind, the R5 version driven by Stéphane Lefebvre was on the other hand the fastest in its category since the Frenchman set the 12th time in the general classification ahead of Ole Christian Veiby (Skoda), Simone Tempestini (Citroën) and Jan Kopecky (Skoda ).
