The 2016 Tour de Corse route revealed

After an atypical format in 2015, for the big return of the famous rally at the 10 Virages in the great concert of WRC, the Tour de Corse will change its face this year for the 2016 edition, which will be contested from September 30 to October 2.

Three stages and ten special stages, for a total of 390,92 km against the clock, will be on the program with a route remodeled at 70% as indicated by the president of the FFSA Nicolas Deschaux. Ajaccio will serve as the starting city while the finish will be judged in Porto-Vecchio.

Step 1, Friday September 30:

SS1 (9:28 a.m.): Acqua Doria – Albitreccia 1 (49,72 km)

SS2 (11:31 a.m.): Liamone Beach – Sarrola-Carcopino 1 (29,12 km)

SS3 (14:26 a.m.): Acqua Doria – Albitreccia 2 (49,72 km)

SS4 (16:29 a.m.): Liamone Beach – Sarrola-Carcopino 2 (29,12 km)

Stage 2, Saturday October 1:

SS5 (9:22 a.m.): Orezza – La Porta – Valle di Rostino 1 (53,72 km)

SS6 (11:03 a.m.): Novella – Pietralba 1 (30,80 km)

SS7 (15:20 a.m.): Orezza – La Porta – Valle di Rostino 2 (53,72 km)

SS8 (17:01 a.m.): Novella – Pietralba 2 (30,80 km)

Stage 3, Sunday October 2:

SS9 (8h58): Antisanti – Poggio di Nazza (53,78 km)

SS10 (12:08 p.m.): Porto-Vecchio – Palombaggia (10,42 km) Power Stage
