The Arctic Rally program

A little over a month after Monte-Carlo, the world rally championship is back in full swing. This weekend (February 26-28), the actors of the WRC meet in Finland for the Arctic Rally, the only snow event of the season replacing Sweden.

In Lapland, the drivers will compete over no less than 251,08 timed kilometers but above all in Dantean conditions where temperatures of around -10°C await them.

This second race weekend of the year will begin this Friday with the 5,69 km long shakedown near Vennivaara. The entrants will set off for the first and only loop of the day. They will cover the 31,05 km of the Sarriojärvi special twice.

Saturday will be the busiest day of the Arctic Rally with two loops of three stages each for a total of just over 144 kilometers.

The meeting will end with a fairly quiet Sunday with only two stages on the program including the Power Stage.
