Le WRC continues his European tour. After Monte-Carlo, the Arctic in Finland, Croatia and Portugal, the competitors will this time meet in Sardinia for the 5th round of the 2021 season.

Sur le gravier de l’île italienne, Hyundai espère se remettre de sa déconvenue portugaise où Ott Tänak et Thierry Neuville had encountered several technical problems. Established in Sardinia by the South Korean structure, Dani Sordo also has his card to play since he remains on two consecutive victories there.

At Toyota, Elfyn Evans a pour but d’enchaîner après son triomphe au Portugal. Sébastien Ogier is looking to bounce back after a complicated Lusitano weekend which still ended in 3rd place overall.

In Sardinia, no less than 303 timed kilometers await the drivers, all over 20 special stages. It will kick off on Friday morning with the long Su Filigosu – Monte Lerno special.

Saturday will be the busiest day with two loops of four special stages each and, above all, almost 130 kilometers to cover.

Finally on Sunday, the competitors will compete in the last four special stages of the weekend including the Power Stage during SS20.
