After eight years of absence, the Acropolis is making its big return to the World Rally Championship calendar. This week-end, Sébastien Ogier and company will fight on the Greek gravel to succeed the Finn Jari-Matti Latvala on the list of winners of the Hellenistic round.

The return of WRC in Greece takes place with a less busy program than previous rallies since only 291 kilometers of real time are on the program for this 9th round of the season.

If Thursday the Shakedown and a small special in the city of Athens will launch the hostilities, the Rally of Greece will really begin on Friday with the Aghii Theodori special, 17,54 kilometers long. The day will continue with four more ES for a total of 89,40 kilometers covered.

Saturday will be the busiest day of this Acropolis Rally. Competitors will hit the road from 7:32 a.m. to compete in a total of six stages, all longer than 18 kilometers. The Greek event will end on Sunday with a light program compared to the previous two days. Three special stages will be there for just under 70 kilometers to cover.
