This is the big novelty of this 2023 season of WRC : the first edition of Rally of Central Europe, which will have the particularity of taking place in three different countries: Germany, the Czech Republic, and Austria!

It will also be the first event on asphalt since last April and the Croatian Rally. For this return to tarmac roads, ten Rally1s – including the crew Sébastien Ogier / Vincent Landais – will be at the start of the European round.

Another characteristic of this Central European Rally: its program, spread over five days and not four like the rest of the other events. The shakedown is scheduled for this Wednesday, at 16 p.m., on the eve of the big start planned in the Czech Republic and the first two specials on Thursday afternoon.

On Friday, the crews will stay in the Czech Republic for 121 kilometers of timed course. On Saturday, the WRC will travel to Austria for 109 kilometers of special stages, before competing in the final stage in Germany on Sunday, where the Power Stage will take place at 12:15 p.m. In total, there will be 313 kilometers of special on the menu for this first edition.
