The Rallye de France remains in Alsace

Le Rally of France ? Alsace 2010, an undeniable popular success, settled the financial aspect of the matter for the continuation of the event in 2011. If the FFSA quickly welcomed the popular success of the event, the question of the budget left doubts lingering concerning the renewal of the Rallye de France in Alsace for a second consecutive year.

Today, the FFSA announces that it has reached an agreement with the local authorities involved in this matter: the Regional Council of Alsace, the General Councils of Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin, the cities of Colmar, Haguenau, Mulhouse and Strasbourg. , and the Strasbourg Urban Community. Thanks to this agreement, Alsace will be able to regain WRC and Sébastien Loeb from September 29 to October 2.

“I am particularly happy with the renewal of our agreements with the Alsatian Communities and I would like to underline the driving role played by the President of the Alsace Regional Council, Mr. Philippe Richert, in order to perpetuate the Rallye de France in his region,” declares Nicolas Deschaux, president of the FFSA. I also welcome the renewal of our partnership agreement with Crédit Mutuel. After the immense popular and media success experienced by the first edition, it will truly be a new page in the history of Motorsport which will be written at the end of September in Alsace. »
