The 2020 Monza Rally reveals its route

The very first Rally of Monza in the history of the World Rally Championship (WRC), scheduled for December 3 to 6, 2020, announced a sprint format course. Competitors will compete over 239,35 km over 16 special stages.

A super-special will open hostilities in the heart of the Temple of Speed, nicknamed “Monza King of Show”. It will take up the main features of the final SS of the Monza Rally Show in the main start/finish straight of the Italian circuit.

Then it's time for five specials on Friday, still within the circuit hosting the Italian Grand Prix of Formula 1 (68,99 km) Championship leader and title contender Elfyn Evans (Toyota) will get some fresh air on Saturday, with a stage mainly traced in Lombardy, north of Bergamo, at the foot of the Alps, an hour's drive from Monza (129 km)

On Sunday, return to Monza for the last ES (40 km), including the Power Stage. This route was traced while Lombardy has just moved into the red zone due to a resumption of the Covid-19 epidemic.
