Le Rally of Portugal 2019 makes quite a reminder of its history. Contested in the north of the country between May 30 and June 2, the seventh round of the World Rally Championship season (WRC) will return for the first time since 2001 in the famous stages of Arganil, Góis and Lousã.
These hills, today used by the teams as a private testing base, were the heyday of the Rally of Portugal until his temporary ouster from the WRC in 2002. In total, 311,59 kilometers of special stages will be offered to crews across 20 timed sectors.
Of course, the legendary Fafe special and his jump will be there, the second passage counting as Power Stage on Sunday lunchtime.
