In the tricolor clan, the hopes of victory in WRC will obviously be based on Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) and Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai), qui sera pour l’occasion accompanied by Dani Sordo and not Andreas Mikkelsen.
The WRC2 class will notably see Yoann Bonato (Citroën, 2nd in Monte-Carlo in WRC2 Pro), the driver of the French FFSA Team. Rally 2019 Adrien fourmaux (Ford), Nicolas Ciamin (Volkswagen) and Pierre-Louis Loubet (Skoda). Also note the return of Eric Camilli in a Volkswagen Polo GTI R5, which will compete in its first world race of the year.
The Director of the event, Dominique Serieys, is very proud of this particularly extensive list. « For three seasons now, we have recorded the highest number of entries in the entire World Rally Championship each year..
The route that we have imagined this year should live up to the confidence that the crews place in us, which constitute a shining testimony to the attractiveness of the Tour de Corse. »
