The route of the Barcelona super-special

Le Rally RACC is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary this year. For the occasion, the organizers have decided to start on Thursday October 23, with a Super-special route through the streets of the Catalan capital, Barcelona. It is in the heart of the Montjuic district and its famous mountain that the 1,6 km route will be designed, which will have to be covered twice. To enhance the spectacle, the cars will be in gravel configuration (suspensions and tires) on the entirely asphalt loop.

The shakedown of the Rally of Spain will take place a little earlier in the day on Thursday (8 a.m. – 12 p.m.), near Salou on a mixed track, dirt and asphalt, 2,94 km long, already used in previous years. After the ES of Barcelona, which becomes the only city to host so many major world championships with the F1 and Moto GP, the parc ferme will be installed at PortAventura before the real start of the event the next day.
