Toyotas have the advantage in Finland

Jari-Matti Latvala leads the Rally from Finland at midday of the first stage. The local pilot took advantage of the massacre that occurred in SS4, with the abandonments of Sébastien Ogier (Ford) et d’Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) et de la crevaison d’Ott Tänak (Ford), to take the lead in the race.

The Finn is only one second ahead of his teammate Esapekka Lappi, author of several scratches in the morning.

Juho Hänninen (Toyota) is in 6th place, half a second ahead of Kris Meeke (Citroën). Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) is in 9th position between Elfyn Evans (Ford) and Dani Sordo (Hyundai) complaining of oversteer on his i20 WRC with which he nevertheless has the opportunity to reduce his delay in the Championship following the misfortunes of Sébastien Ogier.

Jari Huttunen (Skoda) leads WRC 2 with a 14s lead over Gus Greensmith (Ford). Pierre-Louis Loubet (Ford) completes the provisional podium in the category, one second behind the Briton, ahead of Quentin Gilbert (Skoda).

The second passage of the first stage of the Rally Finland will begin at 14 p.m. French time and will be followed with our live text.
