In his role as a luxury intermittent, the eight-time WRC world champion enjoyed a year shared between rallying, endurance racing and family time. Still having as much fun behind the wheel, the Frenchman is leaving for a season where his experience will be even more essential to Toyota.

Knowing the winning character of Sébastien Ogier, there were some doubts seeing him only come part-time in WRC. How was he going to cope with the absence of a challenge in the championship, the possible rallies in the soft underbelly of the ranking or the possible team instructions? At the end of the six events contested in 2022, the Haut-Alpin was smiling. “ Honestly, in terms of results, I don't think I would have signed for that at the start of the season, attacks Ogier.
