Loeb returns to defend his victory in Catalonia
His absence from the German Rally last August disconcerted his supporters. The Sébastien crew Loeb-Daniel Elena will return to the World Rally Championship (WRC) on the occasion of Rally of Catalonia (Spain, October 24-27).
It is also on this mixed event (first stage on dirt, the other two days on asphalt) that the nine-time world champion pair won a close victory with the Citroën C3 WRC in 2018.
The Frenchman and his Monegasque co-driver will lend a hand to Thierry Neuville-Nicolas Gilsoul and Dani Sordo-Carlos del Barrio. This means that Andreas Mikkelsen and Anders Jaeger will be watching the event on their television (or mobile) screen.
A few weeks before, Norwegians will be able to settle in a Hyundai i20 WRC at Wales Rally GB (October 3-6). In Wales, the South Korean brand will trust for the second time this season in Craig Breen and Paul Nagle, already seen at a good pace in Finland (7th).
