With 4 appearances over the entire 2022 season, Sébastien Loeb had shown great things behind the wheel of the Ford Puma. Indeed, the Alsatian had the opportunity to lead 3 of these rallies and above all to win one and not the least, the Monte-Carlo. For 2023, the nine-time world champion seems open to the idea of finding M-Sport but he already knows that he will not be able to retain his crown on the icy roads of the Monaco classic since the Dakar, in which he is participating, ends 4 days before the start, which does not leave him a big margin.

« It would be more complicated to return from the Dakar this time, he recognizes. The timing isn't exactly ideal.. » Indeed, with the end of the Dakar on January 15 and the start of the Monte-Carlo on the 19, Sébastien Loeb would not have much time to prepare, especially since he has not carried out any tests with M-Sport this winter. Despite this absence from Monte-Carlo, barring a turnaround after the Dakar, the Tricolore could well see themselves participating in a few rounds like in 2022.

« Of course, I could do some events like last yearhe says. We will talk about it and see what is possible. This could be interesting. For the moment there is nothing, because I am focused on the event that I am currently competing in. »
