Loeb has made his decision

The Alsatian driver spoke to the Strasbourg regional daily while he is currently on vacation until July 23, when he will have to prepare for the Finland Rally (August 1-4). Asked whether the trend was more towards continuing his career in rallying, Loeb was rather evasive: “ My daughter Valentine wants me to stop. She repeats it to me quite often. I can't tell you? Because I have not yet discussed it with Citroën. And it is not in the newspapers that I am going to make my decision official? »

Compared to last year at this time, when questions regarding its future had already been raised, the situation has evolved significantly. Notably with the creation, in the 2011-2012 off-season, of its own racing structure, Sébastien Loeb Racing. He recently declared that he has a lot more to prove when he gets behind the wheel of one of his Porsche in Matmut Carrera Cup when he lines up at the start of a rally at the controls of his Citroën DS3 WRC. In the middle of his vacation, Loeb will also be at Magny-Cours next weekend, part of the 4th round of the GT Tour, where he will be present as boss but also as driver since he will take part in the races of Mitjet 2.0.
