Loeb regains his position as opener

Sébastien Loeb takes the lead in the Acropolis Rally, but it seems that Sébastien Ogier tried a trick by leaving first place to his teammate in order to have a cleaned road for the final stage.

The previous leader had a lead of 15??1 over the seven-time World Champion. But he lost his entire lead by finishing the special 2??2 behind his teammate in the general classification. “I had difficulty seeing with the dust raised and I preferred to be careful ", defends Sébastien Ogier.

But after seeing Petter Solberg (Citroën) lose his considerable lead of almost a minute in half a stage, the Frenchman was certainly influenced on his pace during the last special.

Sébastien Loeb therefore returns to the opening position just in front of Sébastien Ogier, who will leave in the exhaust of the DS3 WRC of Alsatian. Petter Solberg remains third, 18??7 behind the second Citroën driver, but the Norwegian is dangerously pursued by Mikko Hirvonen (Ford) who is only 1??5 behind the 2003 World Champion.
