Loubet with Hyundai at the Rally di Roma Capitale and the Rally d'Alba

While Hyundai Motorsport resumed his tests in Finland in recent hours, the Korean brand has unveiled a copious program for its drivers for the coming summer period.

If the World Rally Championship WRC is not due to resume before September after the various cancellations in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, we should see the i20 Coupe WRC in action at the end of July at the Rally di Roma Capitale (July 24-26).

On this test counting for theERC, French Pierre-Louis Loubet, integrated into the Hyundai fold this year, will evolve on the winning car of the last Rally Monte-Carlo, the second copy being entrusted to Dani Sordo.

Loubet will also be at the start of the Alba Rally (July 31 – August 2), the two Italian events also seeing a good number of R5 versions of the i20 in action, including Craig Breen, Callum Devine or even Jari Huttunen.

Hyundai Motorsport will also entrust two i20 Coupe WRCs to Thierry Neuville et Ott Tänak for the Dirtfish Rally (August 7-9) in Estonia, where Jari Huttunen will evolve in the i20 R5.
