Loubet continues with 2C Compétition for his discovery of the WRC

Pierre-Louis Loubet disposait d’une voiture (la Hyundai i20 Coupe), of a program (nine rounds in WRC) but no team in 2020. Ultimately, it is the 2C Competition structure which will be responsible for taking Corsica to the four corners of the world in the premier category of the Championship.

“For me it was the best possible option, admits the 2019 winner of the WRC 2. The idea of ​​continuing our collaboration was close to my heart, especially since we created a close bond throughout last season.

Moving to the top of the rally pyramid represents “a new stage, that’s for sure, with a lot of new things to learn, but we’re not putting any more pressure on ourselves!” 

For us it will be about doing our best and knowing our level among the best. In addition, we are supported by a trusted team that we know, so all the conditions are in place for the season to go well. »

The decoration of the car is reminiscent of the official Hyundai Motorsport livery, and for good reason, because Pierre-Louis Loubet is part of the Junior program opened by the South Korean manufacturer.

However, he will not score points for the official team this year, only for his team on an independent basis. “We will be a team in our own right and will carry the entity of “Hyundai 2C Competition”, specifies Team manager Florent Peronnet.

The program of Pierre-Louis Loubet, accompanied by Vincent Landais, will begin in Portugal (May 21-24) until the end of the WRC calendar in Japan (November 19-22).
