Loubet on the Hyundai I20 WRC from Rally Portugal

Pierre-Louis Loubet will reach an important milestone this season. The champion WRC 2 in title was retained as Junior driver at Hyundai and will have a program on a Hyundai i20 WRC which will be entered by a private team. The Frenchman supported by the FFSA will participate in all rounds of the calendar from Rally from Portugal (May 21-24) until the final in Japan (November 19-22), i.e. 9 starts in total.

Hyundai has also confirmed the presence of Ole Christian Veiby and Nikolay Gryazin who will be entered in i20 R5s within the Hyundai Motorsport N team. The Korean manufacturer's Junior program is completed by the Irish Billy Coleman Award who notably took 3rd place in an i20 R5 that he discovered at the Hungarian Rally, final of theERC, and by the Luxembourger Grégoire Munster, double reigning champion of the Junior category in Belgium, who will benefit from a complete program on an R5.

“Hyundai Motorsport's Junior Competition customer department initiative delivered great successes last year on the circuits and it was natural to extend this program to rallying for 2020., explains Hyundai Motorsport Team Principal Andrea Adamo. We have 5 incredibly talented drivers who have already proven themselves in their careers. This group is also a good mix of those who already have experience in R5 cars with those for whom this category is relatively new. »

Hyundai will reveal its Junior drivers entered in the TCR category in the coming months.
