M-Sport with Hirvonen, Evans and Kubica in 2014

An official press release should confirm this tomorrow, Friday December 13. Next year, Mikko Hirvonen will make his comeback in a Ford Fiesta RS WRC run by M-Sport.

M-Sport with Hirvonen, Evans and Kubica in 2014

The name of the second man responsible for defending the colors of the team belonging to Malcolm Wilson no longer gives rise to too much speculation. It will be Elfyn Evans, son of the former British rally champion (1996) and former official Seat Cordoba driver. WRC (1999-2001), Gwyndaf Evans.

Elfyn will celebrate her 25th birthday on December 28. He is a great British hope of rally, winner of the 2012 FIA WRC Junior Academy championship, with four victories in six races. He finished 8th in the last Wales Rally GB, and first in the WRC2 category, in a Ford Fiesta R5.

Finally, it is confirmed that Robert Kubica will also participate in the 2014 WRC championship, in a third Ford Fiesta RS WRC wearing the colors of his privileged partner, the Polish oil company Lotos.
