M-Sport present in WRC2 at Rally Sweden

Absent from Monte-Carlo, the English team begins its campaign in Umeå, in the north of Sweden, where the second round of the 2022 season will be organized (February 23-27). Alongside the 4 Puma Hybrid Rally1, two Fiesta Rally2s will take place under the British team structure M-Sport, l’une pour Jari Huttunen et l’autre pour Mattias Adielsson.

For Jari Huttunen, this will be the second race in these colors after his success at Monza last year. The 27-year-old Finn, WRC3 world champion in 2020, will be a serious rival for favorite Andreas Mikkelsen. At 32, Mattias Adielsson has so far mainly raced in Sweden and ERC. For his 3^e appearance at this level, its ambitions remain modest. If the latter is not guaranteed to participate in other meetings during the season, Jari Huttunen should have a program with M-Sport allowing him to compete for the title.
