Mads Østberg expected in Sweden

Not renewed by Citroën Racing, Mads Østberg should nevertheless take part in the next Rally of Sweden (February 15-17).

The Norwegian confirmed just before the end of 2018 that Citroën Racing would not field a third car in 2019, de facto putting an end to its collaboration with the French entity for the coming season. A disappointment for the former resident of M-Sport, who hoped to continue, at least on a partial program, in the C3 WRC.

Absent at Rally Monte Carlo (January 24-27), Mads Ostberg should however make his return to the World Cup in Sweden in mid-February, as indicated in a video on his Instagram account.

It remains to be seen which car the Scandinavian will line up with. One of the possibilities is that he rents a car from M-Sport, he who had fielded his own Fiesta WRC in 2017 under the Adapta Motorsport colors.
