Returned to the ranks of Citroën Racing on the occasion of rally from Sweden last February, Mads ostberg will once again be lined up at the wheel of the C3 WRC for the next rallies in Portugal (May 17-20) and Italy – Sardinia (June 7-10).
The Norwegian, co-driven by Torstein Eriksen for these two world rounds, should drive the third car operated by the herringbone brand alongside the two starters Kris Meeke and Craig Breen.
Citroën Racing had fielded a third C3 in Mexico and Corsica for Sébastien Loeb (before seeing the Frenchman again in Catalonia later in the season), while Khalid Al-Qassimi will be there in Argentina next week.
Ostberg indicates that he has other options for the rest of the season, which will be officially revealed in the coming weeks.
We are glad to announce that @MadsOstberg - @TorsteinEriksen will drive the #C3WRC at @rallydeportugal and @Rally_d_Italia! #WRC pic.twitter.com/CoJPTrno5H
